Why have branding for your company?

The business world is full of terms that we repeat many times without getting them and that may also generate some fear because we do not understand very well what they really do mean.

One of these terms is “branding”. Its simplest definition refers to the process by which a brand is created and worked with to position it in the minds of consumers. If we go back to the root of the term, “brandr” (Old Norse) means to “mark with fire” a very frequent practice, for example, in which farmers mark their animals to differentiate them from others. And something like that, of course in a more sophisticated way, we do it in the business world: by means of techniques loaded with significance we create a brand (strategic personality) for our company and or products and make various efforts to differentiate ourselves from the competition.

Reading this we think about your business logo? You’re right! But branding is more than just asking a designer to make a beautiful, colorful logo. It implies a series of intentional strategies that will allow us to leverage the fulfillment of the business objectives that we have set.

Why brand management?
